Jerry Crites, a native Charlestonian, purchased Foodeze Executive Caterers in August 2011 and took over management of the company. His previous restaurant experience was as owner of the Palmetto Pig Barbeque Restaurant and Heirloom Restaurant which were both located in Mount Pleasant. It was during this time that he met Jeannie Dillon, who owned her own catering business as well as restaurant and martini bar in Chicago, IL and Racine, WI, all of which were very successful. However, after one vacation trip to Charleston, Jeannie decided to leave the cold winters of the North and move permanently to Charleston, where it was Jerry’s good fortune to meet her and form a partnership. Since Jeannie’s arrival, Foodeze had grown to the point that we needed a larger facility and thus we moved to 1729 Sam Rittenberg Blvd. West of the Ashley Also, at the time, the name was changed to Foodies Cafe and Catering which more closely describes our current operation.
Jerry, Jeannie and the staff are dedicated to providing you with an innovative menu made up of the freshest locally-sourced ingredients. Foodies is able to create menus at every price point to fit your budget for every occasion from office lunches and bridal showers to rehearsal dinners, weddings and large company picnics.
